How can I book a private transportation service from Miami International Airport?
You can book directly through our online booking platform. If you have a specific request, please contact us at info@transfers.miami and we will gladly assist you.
May I book in advance, or can I request the service upon arrival?
We recommend to book in advance to ensure availability and punctuality. Unfortunately, we cannot dispatch our vehicles or drivers without a confirmed reservation.
May I pay in cash on the day of service?
We operate exclusively with confirmed bookings to ensure that our vehicles and drivers are ready for you when you need them. While we can’t mobilize services without a reservation, securing your transfer from Miami Airport to the Cruise Terminal Fort Lauderdale, Miami Airport to FLL, or Miami Airport to hotels in Fort Lauderdale is easy!
What information do I need to provide you to make a reservation?
When booking, please provide us your arrival date, time, flight number, number of passengers, amount of luggage, and your destination.
How far in advance should I book a reservation?
We suggest you to book at least 24 hours in advance. Although we can schedule services with a minimum of 12 hours, but this is subject to availability.
Will the driver wait for me inside Miami International Airport, or should I go outside to meet them?
We operate on a "curbside" basis, meaning you exit through any door, and we will pick you up at the specified exit. However, if you prefer the Meet and Greet service, it can be requested for an additional fee of $20.00.
How will I identify the driver upon arrival at Miami International Airport?
Our driver will be in contact with you the day before and during your arrival, facilitating communication to coordinate the pickup.
What happens if my flight gets delayed or arrives early?
We monitor your flight to ensure punctuality upon your arrival. The waiting time begins from the flight's actual landing time, not the scheduled pickup time. This is a great advantage for you, as it avoids concerns about additional waiting charges.
Is the Meet and Greet service included at Miami International Airport?
The Meet and Greet is not included. However, you may request this service for an additional fee of $20.00.
What types of vehicles are available for private transportation?
We offer spacious and modern vehicles, such as minivans and high-end SUVs, equipped with air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and chargers for your electronical devices.
We are a group of 6 with large suitcases. Can we fit in an SUV?
No. SUVs can accommodate up to 5 people with large luggage or 6 people with carry-ons. We recommend a 12-passenger VAN, where you will be more comfortable.
Can you accommodate additional luggage or large items like surfboards or bicycles?
Yes, but please let us know the details of your specific needs, so we can provide the appropriate pricing and availability.
Can I reserve a child seat or booster seat?
The first child seat is included at no additional cost. From the second seat onward, a $15.00 charge will apply per seat. Please request the child seat when booking, we comply with the law.
Does the price include tolls and tips?
Our rates include taxes, fuel, regular tolls, and a bilingual driver (Spanish – English). The tips for the driver are not included and are optional.
Are there additional charges for nighttime services or holidays?
Nighttime services: Transfers between 10:00 pm and 7:00 am incur an additional fee of $20.00 per group.
Holidays: There are no additional charges.
What happens if I miss my flight or fail to board on time?
In case of flight cancellations, we will reschedule your service at no additional cost. However, if you miss your flight or fail to board due to personal reasons, it will be declared a no-show, and the refund does not apply.
What happens if my flight is canceled?
If your flight is canceled, please let us know as soon as possible to reschedule your service at no additional cost.
Can I modify or cancel my reservation after it has been confirmed?
Yes, you can modify or cancel your reservation at least 48 hours in advance. Services are valid for the reserved day only and cannot be changed, unless we have been notified within the permitted time frame.
What is the refund policy if I cancel my reservation?
If you cancel at least 48 hours in advance, you will receive a full refund.
Do you offer private transportation for my group or do I have to share the vehicle with other passengers?
Our service is private; you will not share the vehicle with other passengers.
Do you offer transportation to destinations other than Miami, Orlando or Fort Lauderdale?
Yes, we offer private transportation to destinations such as Miami, Orlando, Fort Lauderdale, Naples, and West Palm Beach. We also provide service to Miami International Airport and other personalized services. If you would like to make a reservation, please let us know, we will be happy to assist you.
Do you pick up passengers from the Port of Miami?
Yes, we offer transportation services from and to Port of Miami.
How do I book for groups?
You can book for groups by contacting us via the contact form, our email is info@transfers.miami or through our social media. We provide transportation service for large groups also.
How long does it take to get from Miami International Airport to Miami Beach?
The estimated travel time is 20 to 30 minutes, depending on traffic.
How long does it take to get from Miami International Airport to Fort Lauderdale?
It takes 45 to 60 minutes approximately, depending on traffic.
How long does it take to get from Miami International Airport to Port Miami?
It takes around 15 to 20 minutes, depending on traffic.
How long does it take to get from Miami International Airport to Orlando?
It takes 3 hours and a half approximately.
How long does it take to get from Miami International Airport to West Palm Beach?
It takes 1 hour and 20 minutes approximately.
